What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?

Although she is much too young to remember the TV show Different Strokes, she seems to be channeling Arnold...either that or her Dad told her to take off the shoes. It's anybody's guess.

Grace's Big Girl Outfit

Grace is dressed in her new outfit that Grandpa Wright picked out. I am sure that the shoes will be an ever present accessory in upcoming pictures. Grace loves her red shoes and even likes to wear them with her pj's. Naturally Steve is a little nervous about such an early love of footwear!

Pink Frosting Taste Test

Grace helps her mom satisfy a sugar craving by making big pink cookies. Although they only lasted a few days, the cookies were enjoyed by both Grace and her mother...Steve may have gotten one!

Grandpa Wright makes the switch from coffee to tea

Never mind that the man drinks his coffee so strong that the term mud doesn't seem appropriate, Grace convinces him to try some tea.

Auntie Al's Gift

This is one of Grace's favorite gifts. Auntie Al got her a giant stuffed dog that gets hugged everyday.

Tea for Two

Steve explains the fine art of serving tea.

Christmas Morning in Virginia

Gracie and Grandma Vicki both look pretty happy, and this is before the presents!

And then the sun came out

This is the view from our deck after the first snow.

Delicious!

Grace is too young to realize that snowflakes aren't "ripe" until January. She is also too young to realize that her later decision to remove her gloves so that she could get more snow into her mouth was not one of her better choices.

Maybe this snow isn't so bad after all...

Grace gets her first sled ride...unfortunately Mom doesn't have much winter gear, so the driveway was as far as we made it.

Blizzard #1

This is the 28 inches of snow that we received from the first blizzard...most of the Donnellys were still pretty excited about it at this point. Looking at this picture, I wonder if Grace knew what was to come.

Dad's Birthday Cake

I don't like the candles, I don't know the song, but if I get cake, I'm in!

Start 'Em Young

Naturally we were able to find a Starbucks in Breckenridge. Steve and I are hoping to brainwash her early. Delicious!

Grandma Sandy, Grace, and I in Breckenridge

We spent the day wandering around Breckenridge. What a beautiful spot, snow on the slopes, but no need for coats. Is this place for real?

Steve and Grace at Red Rocks

This was our first sight seeing trip in our new state. We headed off to Red Rocks and the view was phenomenal, unfortunately Grace was only interested in the people and the dogs.
